We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on HGVs to identify faults and issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other vehicle systems

- Carry out fabrication, welding, soldering, and assembly work as required for repairs or modifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete maintenance tasks efficiently

- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts utilised
- Assist with the repair of auxiliary equipment including excavators and forklifts when necessary
