Job Description
Our client is the asset finance division of a highly respected equipment manufacturer. They have a rare opportunity for a field based collections representative to join their operations team.
Home based/Field based, covering from the Midlands to the South, responsibilities include:
· Checking daily payment records and overdue accounts, re-presented direct debits, assigned agreements, following up payment actions, taking payments by World Pay.
· Consulting with customers in writing, by phone and on-site, in person. Negotiating repayment plans to ensure minimal losses for the business.
· Liaising with various agents eg; liquidators, administrators, solicitors, third party collections agents, insurers, dealers, and auctioneers.
·Vehicle/machinery inspections and audits – remote and on-site.
·Working as part of a team with our office-based customer service/recoveries, and asset management, and field-based sales teams.
· Arranging haulage transportation and safe, timely removal of assets.
The successful candidate will have experience gained in a collections and customer service environment, preferably with asset finance or similar experience. Field based collections experience would be a distinct advantage – however most importantly, you will demonstrate an empathetic approach, the ability to remain calm in difficult situations and an excellent understanding of industry regulations.
