Southampton – two days a week
£30,000 to £35,000 plus bonus and benefits
Our client is an award winning provider of asset finance offering a broad range of products to their customers. Well established and based in Southampton, they are looking to recruit a Collections Officer within their Asset Finance team.
The successful candidate will support the Collections Manager in all collection activities within the Asset Finance Department to include arrears collection, debt recovery, sub hire audit function and liaising with the Banks’ internal credit team and outside panel of solicitors.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage daily returned payments to reduce and prevent customer debt.
- Have the ability to effectively manage busy workflow and identify key objectives.
- Assist in monitoring of the performance of the portfolio of over 6,500 live accounts.
- Close liaison with any professional advisers/brokers/valuers/recovery agents.
- Support Collections Manager in all collections activities within company policy guidelines and as directed by Senior Manager.
- Ensure customers are treated fairly and FCA regulations are adhered to.
Previous arrears or collections experience is essential as are excellent customer service skills.
