Our client is an established, yet fast growing lender within the asset finance market, providing funding solutions to businesses throughout the UK. We are looking for a relationship manager within the broker team, who will support the Broker Development Managers across the UK.
Key responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with Broker Managers to implement a strategic plan to increase business volumes from your core brokers.
- Take ownership of broker relationships through an engagement and communication plan.
- Maintain consistent focus on the key drivers for the account that will create a ‘partnership’ relationship, be that credit, pricing, service, or tech integration.
- Be a point of contact for brokers and intermediaries, facilitating the point-of-sale process for deals with accountability for the smooth facilitation of transactions; being customer‑centric, risk‑aware, and flexible to deliver the best possible service to secure business.
- Triage potential opportunities, ensuring the right level of priority is given to each opportunity to achieve SLA’s and maximise business opportunities.
- Support Broker Managers in regular and meaningful account reviews and business updates.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of Asset Finance processes and deal journey.
- The ability to provide solutions to deals, being able to work with Sales Support, Credit & risk to maintain optimum customer solutions.
- A good understanding of broker and intermediary models.
- Strong account management skills with a proven track record of focusing on developing relationships and opportunities.
