Our client is a long established and highly respected provider of business lending solutions, supporting SME customers across the UK.
They have an exciting opportunity in their East Kilbride office for a Team Leader who will be responsible for overseeing a team of 8 collectors, who are responsible for mitigating losses through effective collection and recoveries strategies.
The team are responsible for contacting customers who are in arrears – from early first stage problems through to pre‑litigation, to ensure the best outcome for both the company and the customer – always ensuring that customers are treated fairly and vulnerable customers are recognised.
The Team Leader will manage the day to date running of the team, coaching, training, motivating and dealing with any escalated issues or queries.
We are looking for a strong, proven team leader – ideally from within the banking or financial services sector, who can demonstrate the ability to motivate and support others to achieve their goals. Collections experience isn’t essential, but team leadership/management is!
