Our client is the UK division of a global vehicle funding and fleet management business serving a wide range of industries and organisations, both in the public and private sector.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced credit risk analyst to join the UK funding and credit team.
You will be responsible for making lending decisions on new and renewal business, typically credit lines up to £1m, and making recommendations, and preparing full credit write ups for larger requests to be submitted to the credit committee and the globally based head office.
This role is working as part of a small team, so the successful candidate will need to be self sufficient, and comfortable working autonomously. You will be an experienced asset or vehicle leasing underwriter, with strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret accounts and financial information, with a good working knowledge of broader financial regulations to include AML and KYC.
Building strong relationships with the sales function is paramount, so excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also important.
The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
