Our client is an award winning provider of asset finance offering a broad range of products to their customers. Well established and based in Reading, they are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will support the Collections Manager in all collection activities within the Asset Finance Department to include daily Credit Control via telephone, letter and email in line with agreed collection cycle and whilst maintaining accurate activity records.
Responsibilities:
- Management of litigation cases as required
- Completion of proof of debt forms for insolvency cases as required
- Update Customer Records with Direct Debit Mandates
- Process daily Direct Debit collections and cash allocation
- Manage customer queries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Develop and maintain collection processes and procedures taking into account FCA compliance requirements
Previous arrears or collections experience is essential as are excellent customer service skills.
