Ready for the next step in your Quantity Surveying career? CBA is seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with 3 to 5 years' post-graduate experience, whether recently Chartered or currently progressing towards the RICS APC, to take on greater responsibility within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment.

Working with a broad range of clients across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, you'll gain direct exposure to project delivery, client relationships and commercial management while developing your career within an established and respected practice.

The Role

As a key member of our Glasgow team, you will be involved in all stages of project delivery, including:

  • Cost planning and budget preparation
  • Procurement and tender management
  • Contract administration
  • Commercial reporting and cost control
  • Risk and value management
  • Valuations and contract variations
  • Final account negotiations
  • Providing commercial advice to clients and project teams
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

The role offers the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects while working closely with senior colleagues on high-quality commissions.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Has approximately 3-5 years' post-graduate experience within the construction industry
  • Is MRICS qualified or actively working towards Chartership
  • Has experience in cost planning, procurement and contract administration
  • Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities
  • Is confident communicating with clients, contractors and project teams
  • Is organised, proactive and motivated to develop professionally
  • Enjoys working collaboratively whilst taking ownership of their work
