Consultant Psychiatrist – Permanent / PAYE

Join CB1 Medical as a Consultant Psychiatrist and help shape the future of medical cannabis care in the UK. You’ll deliver high-quality consultations in a clinician-led, governance-first environment with flexible working, no on-call requirements, and full indemnity coverage. Training in CBPMs provided.

About the Role

CB1 Medical is seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to join our clinician-led team. You will play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting patients exploring medical cannabis treatment options within a regulated, evidence-based framework. This is an opportunity to shape the future of UK medical cannabis care while working flexibly in a collaborative digital health environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychiatric assessments and consultations for patients considering medical cannabis treatment.
  • Deliver safe and effective ongoing management in line with clinical governance standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Participate in training and continuous professional development, including bespoke CBPMs education.
  • Contribute to clinical governance processes to maintain the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration.
  • Completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent certification.
  • On the GMC Specialist Register for Psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated interest in medical cannabis therapies or innovative approaches to patient care.
