The Opportunity

We’re hiring a

Content & SEO Manager to take ownership of organic acquisition through search-led content.

This role is about building a scalable, compliant content engine that drives qualified traffic, supports patient education, and feeds multiple channels (SEO, email, social, paid).

This is not a “blog-for-the-sake-of-it” role. It’s about intent, structure, authority, and outcomes.

Consider how content performs across both traditional search (SEO) and emerging discovery platforms, including generative AI-driven search, and adapt structure and format accordingly.

This role is ideal for someone who

  • Thinks in search intent and patient questions
  • , not just keywords and traffic
  • Enjoys building structured, scalable content systems rather than one-off blogs
  • Is comfortable working in regulated environments and collaborating closely with clinicians and compliance
  • Is interested in how search and content are evolving, including the impact of generative AI on discovery and visibility.
  • What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Own keyword research, intent mapping, and content prioritisation
  • Define and maintain site structure, internal linking, and page hierarchies
  • Optimise existing pages and create new high-intent content to drive eligibility form submissions
  • Content Creation & Planning

• Produce and manage content across

  • condition and treatment pages
  • educational articles and blogs
  • FAQs and evergreen resources
  • Build and maintain a clear editorial calendar aligned to growth priorities

• Supply content to support

  • - monthly email newsletters
  • - lifecycle and educational email journeys
  • - organic social content
  • - paid creative and landing page messaging
  • Performance & Optimisation
  • Track performance of content against traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Continuously refine content based on search performance and patient behaviour
  • Work closely with paid and lifecycle teams to reuse and amplify high-performing content
  • Compliance & Collaboration
  • Work within healthcare and advertising regulations
  • Collaborate with clinicians, compliance, and marketing colleagues to ensure content is accurate, responsible, and patient-first
  • What We’re Looking For
  • 2 - 5+ years’ experience in SEO and content marketing
  • Strong understanding of keyword intent, on-page SEO, and content structure
  • Ability to write clear, credible, patient-friendly content
  • Comfortable using data to prioritise and optimise content
  • Organised, curious, and proactive.

Desirable (but not required)

  • Experience in regulated, restricted, or policy-sensitive categories.
  • Exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, or health-tech.
  • Experience working closely with dev teams.

Why Join CB1?

  • Ownership of a core, compounding growth channel
  • Opportunity to build authority in a fast-growing, clinically credible space
  • A team that values quality, compliance, and outcomes over volume
  • The chance to shape how patients discover and understand medical cannabis at scale
