We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our growing clients manufacturing team in Longton, S-O-T. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. You will be assisting in the production of the commercial trailer chassis for blue chip customers.
Responsibilities
- Execute Mig welding operations on various metal components.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair products using sheet metal and other materials in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently to achieve high-quality welds.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of welding machinery as required.
- Read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the correct welding procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in MIG welding up to 12mm thickness.
