We are seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Operative / Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Unload containers.
- Order picking when necessary.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against packing lists.
- Assist in materials handling throughout the warehouse, ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- A valid Reach forklift operator certification - can be in house or external.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
Hours of Work
- Monday - Friday - 9/10 hour per day, 7am start on a rota basis.
- Weekly pay - immediate starts.
- Occasional weekend day when in busy period.
