An NGO aimed at combating climate change requires a Policy and Knowledge Management Specialist to support and enhance their policy, knowledge management, and monitoring & evaluation functions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of key strategies within the organisation.
You will play a vital role in coordinating and managing technical policy, overseeing knowledge management, and supporting monitoring and evaluation processes across the organisation. 3- 6 month contract or contract to permanent. London South East or Scotland considered.\\n\\nPrimary Responsibilities:\\n\\nPolicy and Knowledge Management:\\n\\nCoordinate and manage the organisation’s technical policies, ensuring up-to-date documentation and correct governance procedures are always in place.\\n\\t\\nWork closely with the technical team to oversee technical policies and knowledge management systems.\\n\\t\\nAssist in establishing and organising the policy directorate, facilitating and coordinating between divisions and departments.\\n\\t\\nManage policy documents within SharePoint.\\n\\nKnowledge Management:\\n\\nCollaborate with technical and growth teams to design and implement a knowledge management function, including the development of a knowledge database.\\n\\t\\nProvide training and capacity-building support as necessary.\\n\\nMonitoring and Evaluation:\\n\\nSupport the performance management system across all teams by preparing progress reports, monitoring results frameworks, and evaluating work plans.\\n\\nDay-to-Day Support:\\n\\nProvide general administrative support to the senior manager and director as needed within the strategy office.\\n\\nRequired Skills and Experience:\\n\\nA background in industrial engineering, knowledge or policy management, or information management is essential\\n\\t\\nExperience in policy management or knowledge management is a plus.\\n\\t\\nAt least 5 years of experience in coordination, facilitation, and supporting workshops, training, and development.\\n\\t\\nProven ability to manage deadlines and keep complex tasks on track.\\n\\t\\nPrevious experience in monitoring and evaluation or a tracking function is highly desirable.\\n\\t\\nExperience in managing senior stakeholders with confidence and gravitas.\\n\\t\\nEnvironmental or sustainability background is a plus but not essential.\\n\\t\\nProficiency in MS 365 Suite and SharePoint.\\n\\t\\nCompetency in project management tools and general information management systems.\\n\\t\\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.\\n\\t\\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.\\n\\t\\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
