A well-established and respected garage in West Yorkshire is seeking a highly competent and experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our team. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality service and are looking for someone who shares our dedication to excellence.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake checks.
- Conduct thorough MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
- Accurately record all work carried out and maintain clear and concise paperwork.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Essential:
- Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Current MOT Test Licence.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desirable:
- Experience in a fast-paced garage environment.
