Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards before handover to customers.
- Perform checks and adjustments according to manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
- Identify and report any defects, damages, or necessary repairs.
- Carry out minor mechanical work, including fluid checks, tyre pressure adjustments, and battery checks.
- Install accessories and optional extras as required.
- Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and small mechanical repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and best practices.
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a PDI Technician or Vehicle Technician is preferred.
- A strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
- Ability to work methodically and efficiently with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a drive to deliver quality work.
- A full UK driving licence.
