We are looking for a Business Operations Lead that strengthens our operating rhythm, accountability, and execution across the business, ensuring priorities convert into real progress.

Working closely with the Chief of Staff and Leadership Team, you’ll bring structure, visibility, and follow-through to how we execute. You’ll help teams stay aligned, remove bottlenecks, and ensure work moves forward. This is a company-wide execution role. You won’t own the strategy or overall operating system, but you will make sure it runs effectively day-to-day. You’ll act as a force multiplier to the Chief of Staff, extending their reach and helping to drive accountability across the business.

What you’ll own:

  • This role is accountable for driving adoption and outcomes, rather than owning underlying tools or systems directly.
  • Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of all key company initiatives.
  • Ensure every initiative has strong fundamentals: clear ownership, defined scope, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Track progress consistently and follow up to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Identify and elevate risks, blockers, and slipping timelines early.
  • Raise the standard of project management across the business.
  • Drive project health and visibility, not ownership: you ensure projects are well-run, visible, and moving forward.
  • Support teams in structuring work effectively (milestones, dependencies, timelines), particularly in ambiguous or complex initiatives.
  • Continuously look for improvements in project management across the business, including which tools and processes are rolled out.

Operation Rhythm Support:

  • Support the Chief of Staff in running planning and reporting cycles for Objectives, Key Results (OKRs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Ensure inputs are prepared, progress is tracked, and outputs are clear and actionable.
  • Track actions and decisions from leadership forums to ensure follow-through.
  • Help maintain consistency and discipline across company-wide cadence.

Visibility and Reporting:

  • Maintain simple, reliable reporting that provides a clear view of progress against priorities.
  • Partner with Analytics to improve visibility through dashboards and tracking.
  • Act as a central point of truth for what’s happening across the business.
  • Provide structured updates on progress, risks, and delivery status to the Chief of Staff and CEO.

Ways of working & Continuous Improvement:

  • Roll out and reinforce consistent ways of working across teams.
  • Identify where processes or collaboration are breaking down and propose improvements.
  • Support adoption of core tools (e.g. Workvivo, Notion, Product Board) to improve clarity and execution.
  • Partner with the AI Steering Committee to support automation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Design simple, scalable processes with a low tolerance for unnecessary complexity.
  • You will take the lead on coordinating the calendar and content for core company update meetings including our bi-weekly ‘Engine Room’, All Hands content, Hackathons and leadership forums.

We’re looking for someone who has operated in fast-scaling, often ambiguous environments, and can bring clarity and structure across the business. You'll be confident in influencing change and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in strategy, operations, project management, consulting, or a Chief of Staff (CoS) environment.
  • Experience running OKRs or structured planning cycles.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working across teams without formal authority.
  • High follow-through.
  • Highly collaborative, with a low-ego, team-first approach.
  • Track record in a stabilisation or transformation environment. We are looking for someone who thrives in fixing operational fundamentals and driving change at scale.

What Success Looks Like (6-9 months):

  • Company-wide OKR adoption with high clarity on ownership and metrics.
  • Quarterly priorities delivered on time with clear reporting cadence.
  • Reduction in stalled or unowned initiatives.
  • Standardised operating rhythm adopted across all functions.
  • Improved leadership visibility on delivery (single source of truth dashboards).
  • Clear business-wide documentation with regular progress updates.

Here’s how we back you:

  • We benchmark every role using Ravio and run annual performance and pay reviews to ensure we’re always competitive in the market.
  • We offer an annual bonus scheme.
  • We more than match your commitment to your pension, so when you contribute 6%, we put in 9%, taking your total up to 15% of your base salary.
  • Quarterly value-led awards with generous cash prizes.
  • Referral Bonus: Recommend a colleague, get £2,000.
  • 25 days (plus...)
