We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead one of our four high-performing Account Management teams, reporting directly to the Head of Account Management.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding and developing a team of 8 Account Managers who focus on retaining and growing a diverse portfolio of small to mid-sized car dealerships.

About The Role

This isn’t your average Sales Manager role, we’re looking for someone who thrives on driving performance, spotting growth opportunities, and inspiring a team to exceed expectations.

You’ll shape and execute smart sales strategies, monitor key performance metrics, and work cross-functionally to hit commercial targets.

What you'll do;

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of account managers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyse account performance metrics and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client issues, working to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on account performance, trends, and strategies.
  • What we ideally looking for;
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prior experience in managing an Account Manager team is crucial, along with a demonstrated history of consistently meeting and surpassing revenue, retention targets, and KPIs.
  • High capability of emotional intelligence, displaying strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self motivated, driven and results oriented with a customer-centric approach and a clear commitment to delivering exceptional service, driving client satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
