Role Overview
We're looking for a Salesforce Product Owner to act as the strategic bridge between our Salesforce development team and the wider business. In this role, you'll facilitate the delivery of Salesforce solutions that directly support our strategic goals, ensuring the platform evolves in step with business priorities. You'll own the Salesforce product backlog, capture business requirements, and drive smooth delivery across agile sprints and project cycles. This role sits at the intersection of business engagement, agile delivery, and product ownership and it's one where you'll make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments to deeply understand their needs, pain points, and strategic priorities.
- Map out end-to-end business processes, identifying areas for improvement or automation through Salesforce.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand and shape commercial requirements.
- Ensure business users are informed and prepared for platform changes, working alongside training or change management teams as needed.
- Own and manage the Salesforce Jira backlog, ensuring all user stories and tickets are well-documented, prioritised, and ready for development.
- Act as the voice of the Salesforce product in meetings, key updates, and broader project sessions, keeping business goals clearly represented in every decision.
About You
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a similar product-focused role.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and features (e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, you're good at gathering requirements and turning business needs into clear, actionable plans.
- Able to document and map processes and customer journeys clearly, using whatever tools help tell the story.
- Confident managing a product backlog and running agile ceremonies, with hands-on experience in tools like Jira.
- A natural communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical perspectives without losing anyone along the way.
- Someone who thrives when things move fast, you're comfortable juggling priorities and keeping multiple stakeholders in the loop.
