We are looking for a brilliant Bar Assistant to join the team here at St Ermin’s Hotel on a part-time basis. The role will be covering four days a week, for a day-time shift. As a Bartender you will ensure that each and every guest that eats or drinks in our restaurants and bars has a breathtaking experience. You will of course be serving food and drinks, taking orders, and clearing tables, but more than that, you will be empowered to get to know your guests and ensure that you take the necessary steps to personalise their stays and make lifelong memories.
What will you be doing?
- Painting a fantastic first impression to guests by providing a welcoming environment for everyone.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain standards and pay great attention to detail.
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons.
- Interacting with customers, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks.
- Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present bar menu.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
