The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Broker Relations team in a role focused on the procurement, management, and optimisation of broker research and market data contracts, as well as the firm’s commercial vendor agreements.
Reporting to the Head of Broker Relations, this position would suit a highly motivated, analytical, and commercially aware individual who is keen to add value to a leading hedge fund.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for broker research and market data.
- Manage contracts and assist renewals negotiation for data/research and the wider firm’s commercial contracts.
- Maintain accurate contract records, user entitlement, and related documentation.
- Assist with PM onboarding and research trails.
- Oversee cost allocation across multiple cost centres, ensuring accuracy.
- Administration of the firm’s broker vote process.
- Assist with on-going analysis of broker performance and service value.
- Drive automation and process efficiency initiatives, including the use of AI, across existing workflows.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience – finance background, ideally working with e-Trading platforms, exchanges, and market data vendors.
- Exposure to cost allocation or management reporting.
- Excellent multi-tasking, time management, organisation skills, effective prioritisation, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, ability to pick-up new concepts and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Experience with GPT, SQL, Tableau are desirable.
