Caws Mon is a modern cheese-making facility specialising in the production of high-quality block cheese for further processing. We are proud of our commitment to quality, food safety, and continuous improvement, supplying customers who rely on consistent, premium dairy products.
We are looking for motivated and reliable Dairy Operatives to join our production team. This role is key to ensuring the efficient manufacture, handling, labelling and packing of block cheese to the highest quality and hygiene standards. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced food production environment, following strict food safety and health & safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operating and monitoring cheese-making and processing equipment
- Assisting in the production of block cheese according to set recipes and specifications
- Carrying out quality checks and recording production data
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and production areas (CIP and manual cleaning)
- Handling, moving, and storing cheese blocks safely
- Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
- Reporting any faults, deviations, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Essential:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work shifts (this will be a 24/7 operation)
- Ability to work in a chilled production environment
- Right to work within the UK
- Desirable:
- Previous experience in dairy or food manufacturing a bonus but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP)
- Experience operating production machinery

Full-time positions available. Shift patterns will include days, nights, weekends and all bank holidays, 12 hour shifts.
