Dept/Section: Soil Analytical
Responsible for:
- Analysis of soil and environmental samples using multiple pH instrumentation methods, including both automated and manual methods.
- Keep safety at the forefront of all laboratory work.
- Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures provided.
- Operate, perform maintenance and calibrate instrumentation following the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Check data before releasing results and transfer onto the LIMS systems.
- Attention to detail essential due to high volume workload.
- Operating pH instrumentation.
- To work in other analytical roles within the company as the workload dictates.
- Maintain Cawood credibility by always portraying a positive image, keeping equipment and PPE clean.
- Respect company equipment and use as per guidelines and report any damage to management as soon as possible.
- Work as a team and maintain morale, actively offer help and assistance wherever possible.
- Be proactive ensuring accidents and near misses are always reported straightaway to managers in line with our company accreditation and policy.
