Enitial, a division of Cawood Scientific, is seeking a regional-based Environmental Technician to join our Field Services Team. This predominantly site-based role involves conducting routine environmental monitoring across Water and Compliance services, with a focus on a new project related to UKWIR's Chemical Investigations Programme (CIP). The role requires obtaining water samples for analysis, particularly concerning trace chemicals and emerging substances in wastewater.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine environmental monitoring following company protocols and client specifications.
- Maintain environmental control systems and client infrastructure.
- Provide professional service and build trust with clients on-site.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and PPE in good condition.
- Work collaboratively within the team, supporting regional morale.
- Report deviations and non-conformances impacting data integrity.
- Manage time effectively and report work progress and efficiencies.
- Handle data accurately and submit to Data Analysts promptly.
- Prioritize safety, reporting accidents and near misses immediately.
- Ensure compliance with remote working safety protocols.
- Liaise with laboratories and couriers for sample compliance.
- Complete administrative tasks, including expenses and vehicle checks.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Full UK Driving License.
