Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef at all levels, based in Glasgow. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring all menu items meet company standards, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Additional responsibilities include managing food preparation processes, overseeing ingredient storage, minimizing waste, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. The role may also involve assisting with menu planning and inputting ideas for seasonal menus.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, including cooking techniques, knife skills, and the ability to prepare and present dishes at a high standard
Experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, and understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with kitchen and service staff
Creativity in menu planning and innovation of new dishes
Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Culinary qualifications and/or proven experience in professional kitchens
Passion for food and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
