We operate from a state of the art production and warehousing facility based on one site in North Yorkshire.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Goods In FLT Driver.

As a Goods In FLT Driver your critical goal will be to ensure that materials and products are always at the right location and booked in at the correct time to achieve maximum efficiencies.

You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles, with both reach and counterbalance experience being essential.

You will need to have worked within a Goods In role previously.

You will be required to operate MHE equipment with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety at all times.

Your job will involve FLT driving duties along side the physical Goods In role.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Forklift Counterbalance/Reach truck driving.
  • Unloading raw materials, Ingredients and packaging from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places.
  • Labelling Goods on internal systems.
  • Putting stock into racking and bulk locations.
  • Updating and booking stock onto the warehouse management systems.
  • Pick stock to Production & returning excess to specific locations.
  • Stock taking and maintaining stock accuracy.
  • Coordinating accurate stock rotation.
  • Loading vehicles with motorised pallet trucks and completing relevant paperwork.
  • Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs.
  • Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

  • Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Warehousing/distribution NVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience within a Goods In role.
  • FMCG Background.
  • Experience of recent Reach driving experience within a Manufacturing environment - ideally FMCG, Food or Drinks.
  • Must hold current Reach and Counterbalance licence.
  • Licenses must be current (within last 3 years).
  • Experience of working in demanding environments.
  • Bulk stacking and drive in racking experience.

We work continental shift patterns: 12-hour shifts (6AM - 6PM and 6PM - 6AM) on a four on, four-off basis.
