About The Role
We’re looking for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join the CAVU Commerce Finance team, supporting one of the most dynamic and fast‑paced areas of the business. Reporting to the CAVU Head of Finance – Commerce, this role will partner closely with Commercial and operational stakeholders across CAVU and MAG airports to provide high‑quality financial insight, challenge and decision support. You’ll play a key role in driving performance across car parking and ancillary revenue streams, supporting business planning, investment decisions, contract negotiations and growth opportunities. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders across the business, where your analysis and recommendations will directly influence commercial strategy and EBITDA growth. You’ll work across the business supporting operations across Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands airports, alongside wider B2B and distribution growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Partner with Commercial and operational stakeholders across CAVU and MAG to support performance delivery and strategic decision making.
- Deliver insightful, accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis and recommendations to drive business performance.
- Support the development and delivery of the car parking business plan and broader CAVU EMEA financial plans.
- Produce robust financial models, scenario analysis and business case appraisals to support investment decisions and contract negotiations.
- Support both organic growth initiatives and M&A opportunities through financial analysis, modelling and due diligence activities.
- Develop and enhance weekly and monthly performance reporting, identifying risks and opportunities early.
- Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across key revenue streams.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities and mitigation plans against financial targets.
- Support consolidation and reporting of wider Marketplace and CAVU financial performance.
- Ensure robust and accurate month‑end and year‑end reporting processes are maintained.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with MAG accounting policies and reporting requirements.
- Support contract reviews from an accounting and income recognition perspective, including billing and contractual true‑up calculations.
- Promote strong financial discipline, cost control and governance across the business.
- Collaborate with Shared Service Centre teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong financial and analytical capability with a commercial mindset and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. You’ll need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with likely previous experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A role within a fast‑paced commercial environment. You’ll also bring:
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insight.
- Experience building business cases and supporting investment decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive, collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to provide objective challenge.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability; experience with BI tools would be advantageous.
