About the Role

We're looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to take ownership of the commercial performance of our digital booking journey across Airport Parking, Lounges and Fast Track. This is a newly created role that will bring a true ecommerce trading mindset into a highly commercial environment. You'll be responsible for understanding how customers move through our booking flows, identifying opportunities to improve conversion and basket value, and ensuring every stage of the journey is optimised to deliver the best possible outcome for both our customers and our business.

Working closely with Revenue Management, Product, Technology, Marketing and Commercial teams, you'll be the go-to expert for funnel performance, onsite merchandising, bundling strategies and trading initiatives. You'll help shape how products are presented, influence CRO priorities, and use data and customer insight to drive growth across a business generating over £100m in booking revenue. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ecommerce trader who loves understanding customer behaviour, thrives on continuous optimisation, and wants to make a visible impact in a fast-growing travel technology business. Key Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial performance of Cavu's online booking journey across Parking, Lounges and Fast Track.
  • Drive improvements in conversion rate, basket value, revenue and profitability through trading and merchandising activity.
  • Act as the owner of funnel performance, identifying opportunities and areas of customer drop-off through detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and execute onsite merchandising strategies, including product positioning, cross-sell opportunities and bundle optimisation.
  • Own the performance and growth of bundle propositions, increasing attachment rates while maintaining strong core product performance.
  • Partner with Product, Technology and CRO teams to prioritise and deliver booking flow improvements.
  • Lead experimentation and testing activity, using customer insight and data to validate opportunities and drive better outcomes.
  • Build and manage the multichannel trading and promotional calendar, ensuring trading activity supports wider commercial objectives.
  • Lead regular trading reviews, identifying risks, opportunities and actions to improve performance.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management teams, providing constructive challenge and ensuring pricing strategies support conversion and customer experience objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams on promotional activity, campaigns and integrated commercial planning.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating data into clear commercial actions.

What We Need From You

  • Significant experience within Ecommerce Trading, Digital Trading or Online Merchandising roles.
  • Proven success delivering improvements in conversion, revenue, basket value and trading performance within a digital environment.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics including conversion rate, average order value, attachment rate, customer journeys and funnel progression.
  • Experience working on CRO initiatives, experimentation programmes and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and make data-led decisions.
  • Experience using digital analytics tools such as GA4 or equivalent.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing trading plans, promotional strategies and P&L performance.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with a broad range of stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Technology and Marketing functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, energetic and customer-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge established ways of working and bring fresh ideas.
  • Experience within travel, hospitality, retail or marketplace environments would be advantageous, but not essential.
