The role sits at the heart of our commercial business, supporting and shaping trading and revenue decisions across CAVU’s marketplace products. As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Trading team to provide accurate, timely and relevant insight on our key revenue streams. You’ll analyse market performance, identify trends and opportunities, and turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence strategy and investment decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Senior Revenue Manager and Trading team to optimise trading strategy through forward-looking market analysis
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and revenue opportunities
- Building, maintaining and refining opportunity-sizing and revenue forecasting models
- Partnering with teams across product, e-commerce, marketing, partnerships and distribution to align insights with commercial goals
- Producing clear reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Creating effective data visualisations to highlight performance risks, downturns and opportunities
- Supporting the budget planning process and future business plans
- Sharing knowledge and best practice across the analyst community at CAVU
About You: You’re a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with complex data and using insight to influence decisions. You’ll likely bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large or complex data sets
- A good level of commercial awareness and confidence questioning assumptions or data gaps
- Experience building forecasts, models or opportunity sizing to support business decisions
- The ability to translate analysis into clear, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, including experience presenting findings to senior audiences
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
