We are a well-established, family-owned insulation company and have identified a position for an experienced Cavity Wall Installer to join our team.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes and hold a full driving licence.
- Experience in the role is essential.
- Candidates must be physically fit (the job involves lifting, climbing ladders, etc.).
As a Cavity Wall Installer, your duties will include:
- Conducting a comprehensive internal and external inspection of all properties, using the pre-inspection report prior to installation to ensure suitability, and performing a post-installation inspection.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry and company standards to achieve the set quality targets.
- Liaising with customers, fully explaining what the installation will involve, and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Adhering to all company Health and Safety rules at all times, including ensuring all team members comply.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A current driving licence is essential.
- A CSCS card is required.
- Excellent face-to-face communication skills and the ability to deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
- Ability to work alone and in teams as required.
- Proven ability to self-motivate, achieve set targets, and work without direct supervision, using initiative and meeting deadlines.
- A flexible approach to working hours due to the nature of the job.
- Experience in working with and complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the insulation industry and current technical skills with installation experience.
- Technical knowledge of domestic home insulation.
- An awareness of environmental issues.
