Do you enjoy using your strong debit and credit skills and are unhappy in your current role? If so, read on.
My client, a practice based just outside Cambridge, is looking for someone to do the following:
- Prepare accounts from incomplete records or Excel TB's
- Interrogate Xero TB's to find any journal adjustments, which are required
- Working on clients up to £4 million turnover including charities, start-up biotech firms and consultancies
In addition, the following experience would be useful but is not essential as training could be given in these areas:
- Knowledge of preparing personal tax returns
- Preparing VAT Returns
- Payroll
Ideally you will have experience of being in a practice environment but my client would look at skilled bookkeepers and QBE's, with proof of strong bookkeeping on their CV. The client uses Excel, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks and knowledge of any of these would be preferred.
In return, my client offers good benefits including:
- 25 days' holiday + discretionary extra day at Christmas
- Study support if needed
- 2 days for charity work
- 10% commission on clients introduced to the firm, which is paid annually as long as the client stays with the firm
- Discretionary bonus at Christmas and the business's year end
- Enhanced auto enrolment pension
- Free parking
This is an excellent role with a firm, which has a strong client base so don’t delay in sending your CV to us straight away.
