Are you an experienced bookkeeper, who loves working in practice or is currently working for a small business and would like more variety in your work? My client is looking for someone just like you to join his established team and take charge of a small portfolio of varied clients. Your work would consist of:

  • Being responsible for a portfolio of up to 40 clients with turnovers ranging from £500,000 to £2 million
  • All bookkeeping for these clients
  • Liaising with the clients and building business relationships with them
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll (don’t worry if you haven’t done this as the client will train on this aspect)
  • Allocating costs to the right jobs for some clients
  • Previous use of Xero and Dext would be an advantage
  • Basic Excel knowledge is a must
