ABOUT CAVENWELL

Cavenwell is a next-generation trust and fiduciary firm — client-obsessed, cross-border by design, and powered by technology. We provide global structuring, governance, and administration solutions to ultra-high-net-worth families, acting as the architects of wealth structures for some of the world’s wealthiest families. Our operations are already highly automated, with a robust internal stack of automation tools, intelligent document workflows, and robotic process automations to reduce friction, eliminate repetitive tasks, and deliver a new standard of service.

We’re now seeking a FinTech-savvy Operations Manager to help extend this capability — scaling existing systems, embedding adoption across teams, and ensuring we get maximum leverage from the powerful tools we’ve already put in place.

THE ROLE: BUILD. SCALE. ENABLE.

We’re hiring a mid- to senior-level Operations Manager to take ownership of building, refining, and scaling operational systems across the business. This is a high-impact, high-context role focused on amplifying the effectiveness of what’s already been built. You’ll work closely with the founders to extend and refine our operational systems — supporting the rollout of automation into new functions, ensuring internal adoption, and driving continued process innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operational Infrastructure
    • Design, document, and roll out core processes across client onboarding, compliance, finance, HR, and client service.
    • Build clear and scalable SOPs to capture institutional knowledge and reduce key-person dependency.
    • Establish reliable, auditable workflows for recurring activities and continuously improve them.
  • Automation & Tooling
    • Evaluate and expand existing automations — identify where they can be extended, simplified, or replicated across departments.
    • Build new automations using our existing platforms, and help translate business needs into scalable, tech-powered workflows.
    • Act as a champion of automation best practices, helping internal teams understand and fully leverage our infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders on larger integrations (e.g. RPA, APIs, intelligent document workflows).
  • Cross-Functional Delivery
    • Serve as a day-to-day execution partner to finance, compliance, and client service leads.
    • Support the rollout of new jurisdictions, systems, or service offerings with strong operational planning and oversight.
    • Help develop and enforce internal service standards (e.g. SLAs, process ownership, escalation paths).
  • Team Enablement
    • Spearhead internal adoption of workflow tools, knowledge bases, and basic automation by training and supporting the wider team.
    • Help lead an internal education program around automation, AI tools, and smarter service delivery practices.
    • Support the onboarding and development of future hires in the operations function.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years in operations, business operations, or process-driven roles — ideally within startups, fintech, legal/financial services, or tech-enabled service businesses.
  • Proven track record of building and owning operational systems and internal tooling from scratch.
  • Experience with workflow automation, low-code platforms, and CRM or internal databases.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to create SOPs and training materials.
  • Data literate — comfortable interpreting metrics, building simple reports or dashboards, and translating operational performance into insight.

Tech Fluency

You don’t need to be a developer, but you’re highly fluent in modern automation and no-code/low-code ecosystems. You understand the difference between a quick Zap and a process-level automation strategy. You’re comfortable with logic, data flows, and understanding where AI tools or robotic process automation can create leverage.

Mindset & Traits

  • Builder’s mindset – You see inefficiency and instinctively design the system that would fix it.
  • Bias for action – You’re comfortable operating independently, making decisions, and adjusting course as needed.
  • Structured thinker – You bring clarity and order to unstructured situations.
  • Enabler, not gatekeeper – You love helping others do more with the right tools and systems.
  • Low-ego, high-ownership – You’re hands-on, team-oriented, and driven by results.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience working in or adjacent to regulated environments (e.g. KYC, AML, risk workflows).
  • Familiarity with fiduciary, trust, or private client service businesses.
  • Basic fluency in code logic or structured data formats (e.g. JSON, API schemas).
  • Exposure to internal education or tech adoption programs within small teams.

WHY JOIN CAVENWELL

  • Join a company rewriting the playbook for private wealth and family office governance services.
  • Work directly with executional founders and domain experts.
  • Make a tangible impact — your work will touch every function in the business.
  • Help build a new kind of trust company from the inside out.
  • Flexible working, competitive compensation, and real growth potential.
