What we are looking for: You will have a political, media or communications background, with experience operating in this field. You may have agency experience, although this isn’t a requirement. We’re looking for someone who works within a high performing team in a commercial environment.
- Good understanding of how the various levels of government work at both local and national levels
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Maintaining and growing a portfolio of key clients
- Team management, supporting the development of junior team members and future growth plans
- Demonstrate drive, commitment and a focus to producing work of the highest standard

What you’ll need to do: A key member of the team utilising your commercial awareness and project management skills in the delivery of exceptional communications and engagement services to your clients in the planning and development sector. You are at the heart of the account and the client relationship, delegating work appropriately to Executives effectively managing upwards to your Directors. Your specific duties will include:
- Ensuring the effective delivery of projects within your portfolio
- Advising on and executing effective communication strategies on time and within budget
- Liaising with the media, politicians and community groups
- Supporting new business proposals and presentations
- Attending client meetings
- Responsibility for the organisation of public exhibitions and stakeholder events, political and stakeholder research, drafting of letters, press releases, newsletters and exhibition boards and maintaining accurate databases
- Building client relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver additional support
- Managing Account Executives and Account Managers within your project teams
- Contributing to the marketing efforts of the team and wider business
