We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bench Joiner/cabinet maker. Additional, in-house training will be given to competent time-served candidates to support continued development and success in the role.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Assembly of joinery and cabinetry related items
  • Ensuring items are finished, sanded, prepared and collated for the next department in line, for example, the spray shop or goods out all via the joinery manager
  • Own hand tools essential including cordless drills
  • Working flexibly across departments, including occasional support in the machine shop or other areas and duties as needed

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and production information
  • Ability to use wood machines would be a benefit but not necessarily essential
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
