We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bench Joiner/cabinet maker. Additional, in-house training will be given to competent time-served candidates to support continued development and success in the role.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Assembly of joinery and cabinetry related items
- Ensuring items are finished, sanded, prepared and collated for the next department in line, for example, the spray shop or goods out all via the joinery manager
- Own hand tools essential including cordless drills
- Working flexibly across departments, including occasional support in the machine shop or other areas and duties as needed
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and production information
- Ability to use wood machines would be a benefit but not necessarily essential
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
