We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join one of our well-established clients in Stansted. Our client is a leading UK construction company specialising in RC frames, groundworks, civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of highways and infrastructure projects. Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Oversee contract administration, commercial performance, and risk management. Develop and maintain project programmes, reporting regularly on progress and key milestones. Coordinate with clients, local authorities, utility providers, and design consultants. Drive compliance with HSE legislation, company procedures, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for programme improvements, value engineering, and cost efficiencies. Support bid and pre-construction activities where required. Skills & Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager within Highways, Civil Engineering, or Infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of highways construction, road schemes, junction improvements, S278 works, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and associated civil engineering activities. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining programme and budget control. Experience working under NEC contracts is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proficient in project reporting, planning, and risk management. Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. SMSTS. CSCS Card. First Aid at Work (desirable).
