We're working with a well-established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Project Planner to join their growing team. This is a key role supporting the Planning Manager and site teams in the preparation, coordination, and management of project programmes from tender through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing tender programmes and converting them into Master Construction Programmes
  • Liaise with Planning Manager, Construction Directors and Contract Managers to finalise and update programmes
  • Report progress and programme slippage to senior stakeholders
  • Prepare method statements, logistics plans, and periodic reviews of key project timelines
  • Maintain programme databases (Gateway) and ensure document control compliance
  • Uphold Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards in line with ISO requirements
  • Support company CPD, sustainability, and CSR initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' planning experience in a construction environment
  • Proficient in Asta Powerproject and/or Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working on live construction sites
  • CSR or CSCS card
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools
  • Understanding of tender documents, contracts, and commercial planning
  • Knowledge of web-based document management systems
  • CIOB accreditation
