We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join a growing workplace design and build contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London. The business specialises in creating modern, functional office environments, managing projects from concept through to completion, working closely with designers, consultants, and site teams. This role would suit someone with experience in design & build or commercial fit-out, who is confident managing project documentation in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and issuing project documentation via document control systems
- Maintaining drawing registers and ensuring correct version control
- Coordinating information between design teams, consultants, and site
- Supporting project teams with admin and document-related tasks
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and project deadlines
Ideal Background:
- Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction, ideally design & build or fit-out
- Familiar with common document management platforms (Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, etc.)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
