Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a live project at Sizewell C, Suffolk, with a project value of approximately £10 million.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in FRC (Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete) works, structural steel, groundworks and civil engineering.
Previous experience working on Sizewell C, ideally with a valid Sizewell site induction, would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all site activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee FRC works, structural steel installation, groundworks and civil engineering packages.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, programme, costs and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with site health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Identify and resolve site issues, ensuring works remain on schedule.
- Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress reports.
- Liaise with the client and senior management to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or construction.
- Valid Management CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
- Valid Temporary Works Qualification
- Strong technical knowledge of FRC works, structural steel, groundworks and civils.
- Experience managing projects or work packages of a similar value and complexity.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to health and safety, programme management and quality control.
- Sizewell C site induction preferred, with previous experience on the project considered a significant advantage.
