Freelance Metal Workers & Welders Needed. We are currently seeking experienced Freelance Metal Workers, Welders and Press Brake Operators to support a growing fabrication workshop during a major expansion period. The business has recently invested heavily in new metal fabrication equipment including press brakes, laser machinery and additional welding facilities as they continue bringing more fabrication work in-house. Projects include scenic fabrication, experiential builds, retail installations, hospitality fit-outs and bespoke fabricated structures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced metal workers and fabricators
- MIG / TIG welding experience
- Press brake operating experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience working within fast-paced fabrication environments
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach
Highly Desirable:
- Laser operation experience
- Scenic fabrication background
- Structural metalwork experience
- Experience within exhibitions, events, retail fit-out or creative production sectors
- Tube bending, rolling or sheet metal fabrication experience
Workshop Expansion:
- New press brake installation
- Incoming metal laser machinery
- Additional welding bays
