We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join one of our well-established clients in Hull. Our client is a leading UK construction and civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure, commercial, residential and transportation projects across the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily site operations across multiple work fronts. Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements and legislation. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour teams. Deliver works in line with programme, budget and quality objectives. Monitor progress and implement corrective actions where required. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks and safety audits. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and standards. Lead site meetings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings. Maintain accurate site records, reports and project documentation. Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, commercial teams and external stakeholders. Support the delivery of highway improvement and public infrastructure works. Promote a positive safety culture and drive best practice across site operations. Skills & Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering major civil engineering, infrastructure, energy, or large-scale construction projects. Experience managing highway, infrastructure, utility, heavy civil or large-scale construction works. Strong understanding of NEC contracts and collaborative project delivery environments. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex site logistics. Strong planning, programming and organisational abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
