The Role
We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Manager to oversee internal and external subcontractor teams across high-end fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery to programme, quality, and budget, maintaining strict health and safety standards, and supporting the project team through all stages of fit-out and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site activities, coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades.
- Oversee fit-out works from shell & core through to final completion and client handover.
- Ensure quality control, workmanship, and adherence to design specifications.
- Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Contribute to progress meetings, reporting on site performance, risks, and variations.
About You:
- Proven experience in fit-out management with a main contractor.
- Strong background managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Excellent technical knowledge of fit-out sequencing and finishes.
- Solid understanding of health & safety and quality assurance processes.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card), and First Aid qualifications preferred.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of driving works to meet tight deadlines.
