We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in London.
Our client is a leading UK-based contractor specializing in Heavy Civils, RC Frames, and Groundworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations, RC frames and associated infrastructure.
- Establishing and maintaining site control points and survey data.
- Producing and maintaining accurate as-built surveys and records.
- Interpreting and checking engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out QA/QC inspections and completing quality documentation.
- Raising and managing RFIs where required.
- Monitoring tolerances and ensuring works are delivered to specification.
- Liaising with subcontractors, site managers and design teams.
- Assisting with site planning and engineering problem solving.
- Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety on site.
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer for a Groundworks, RC Frame or Civil Engineering contractor.
- Strong knowledge of foundations, drainage, external works and reinforced concrete structures.
- Competent using Leica or Trimble surveying equipment and GPS.
- Experience using AutoCAD and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of QA procedures, as-built surveys and site documentation.
- SMSTS or SSSTS (Desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
