We are recruiting for a QA Engineer to join a respected UK civil engineering contractor, working on a project in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering projects to the highest standard while advancing their career.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to prevent defects, ensure safety, and guarantee the project meets the engineering codes and client specifications before the work is executed. This project is the development of a European Headquarters for a US based Healthcare Software organisation.

  • Duration: Long Term Project
  • Hours: 10-12 hour shifts
  • Location: Long Ashton, Bristol
  • Rate: £350 - £400 per shift depending upon experience

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Senior/QA Engineer on a similar project
  • Experience within the groundworks, civils & infrastructure sectors
  • HNC, HND or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Working towards or possessing chartered status – desirable
  • QA experience is essential
  • Valid Management CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid
  • Ability to drive and lead a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Ability to plan ahead
  • Driving License – essential
  • Working references – essential
