We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join one of our well-established clients in Birmingham. Our client is a leading UK construction and civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure, commercial, residential and transportation projects across the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily site operations on a major infrastructure project. Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures and legislation. Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers. Monitor progress against programme and proactively address potential delays. Conduct site inspections, quality checks and health & safety audits. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and industry standards. Maintain site records, reports and documentation. Chair site meetings and toolbox talks. Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and commercial teams to achieve project objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team. Assist with short-term planning and resource allocation Skills & Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering major civil engineering, infrastructure or large-scale construction projects. Previous experience working on rail, highways, infrastructure, heavy civil engineering or major project environments. Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple work fronts and subcontractors. Strong programme and resource management capabilities. Proficient in site reporting and project documentation.
