We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join one of our well-established clients in Birmingham. Our client is a leading UK construction and civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure, commercial, residential and transportation projects across the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects across a national portfolio. Manage Project Managers, Site Managers and project delivery teams. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. Drive commercial performance and maximise project profitability. Oversee resource planning, programming and operational delivery. Monitor project performance, KPIs and contractual obligations. Identify and manage project risks and opportunities. Support tender, bid and pre-construction activities where required. Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to project teams. Produce regular operational and commercial reports for senior management. Skills & Requirements: Proven experience operating as a Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, Project Director or Senior Project Manager. Strong track record managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience delivering civil engineering, infrastructure, industrial, warehouse, commercial or major construction projects. Excellent commercial awareness with responsibility for project budgets and profitability. Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of contract administration and project controls. Ability to build and maintain long-term stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication, organisational and management skills. Willingness to travel across the UK as business needs require. Degree, HNC or HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. SMSTS. CSCS Card. Full UK Driving Licence.
