We are looking for a Backend Product Engineer to join a fast-growing AI startup building tools designed to improve how teams work and collaborate. In this role, you will help scale the backend infrastructure and services powering the product, while enabling the development of new AI-driven features as the platform grows rapidly. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to build reliable systems and support continuous product innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own the development and scaling of backend infrastructure.
- Design and build high-performance APIs and backend services.
- Develop infrastructure to support AI-powered product capabilities.
- Optimise database performance and query efficiency.
- Improve system reliability, monitoring, and observability.

Requirements
- Experience working in product-focused engineering teams.
