Our client is a global technology organisation looking for an Agentic AI Architect to design and deliver a next-generation AI-driven SDLC on a 12 month remote contract.
Skills and Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering/architecture with 3+ years in AI/ML or LLM-based systems
- Strong experience designing AI-enabled SDLC or developer productivity solutions
- Deep expertise in .NET ecosystem (.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, microservices)
- Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, boards, repos, test plans)
- Experience with multi‑agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel)
- Strong understanding of LLM integration and prompt engineering (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI)
- Proven experience applying AI to code generation, test automation, and DevOps optimisation
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, networking)
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, observability, and performance metrics (accuracy, latency, cost)
- Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and hybrid search (preferred)
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, security, and compliance practices (preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and implement an Agentic AI-driven SDLC across development, testing, and operations
- Architect and orchestrate multi-agent AI systems to enhance developer productivity and automation
- Build AI capabilities across code generation, test automation, CI/CD intelligence, and incident management
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools, LLMs, and frameworks to define scalable enterprise solutions
- Embed AI into Azure DevOps pipelines including backlog refinement, CI/CD, and release decisions
- Define AI governance frameworks including observability, cost control, and compliance
- Implement monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous improvement mechanisms for AI systems
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and architecture teams to align solutions with business goals
- Drive best practices in system design, scalability, and performance optimisation
- Lead the definition of architecture strategy balancing performance, cost, and scalability
