Job Title: Trainee Cost Specialist - Train to Fit

Location: Warrington, Cheshire or Stoke Gifford, Bristol

Compensation: £36,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Overview

Join the Experis Academy as a Trainee Cost Specialist and receive training to become a highly skilled Cost Specialist working for Cavendish Nuclear. This role offers the opportunity to be trained and developed while representing Experis.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you’ll secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes, ensuring on‑time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to gain exposure to the wider business and various opportunities across Cavendish Nuclear and Babcock.

  • Coordinate and collate all project cost data.
  • Produce revenue and cost reports.
  • Provide forward‑looking trend and variance analysis and identify expected project cost performance.
  • Facilitate re‑forecasting exercises with the Project Team to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure cost reporting aligns with the Project WBS.
  • Assist with monthly billing.

  • Previous experience in a delivery environment within engineering, project or construction management, or a related field.
