The role

As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of a highly regulated capital investment programme.

Day-to-day, You’ll Be Required To:

  • Conduct supplier quality audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identifying quality risks and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review supplier quality management systems, processes and documentation to ensure governance and assurance requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering and project teams to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
  • Provide independent quality assurance reporting, analysing audit findings and performance data to enhance supplier capability and delivery outcomes.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and based in Warrington, Cheshire. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available.

Essential Experience Of The Quality Engineer:

  • Experience working within highly regulated industries.
  • Experience identifying quality risks and supporting corrective action programmes.
  • Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders across engineering, procurement and project functions.

Qualifications For The Quality Engineer:

  • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification, or the willingness and capability to achieve this qualification with support and development in role.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
