The role:
As a Head of Mobilisation, you will lead the end-to-end mobilisation of major programmes and contracts, ensuring projects transition seamlessly from concept to operational delivery. This high-impact leadership role where you will shape mobilisation strategy, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure operational readiness across complex engineering and defence programmes.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Leading mobilisation activities across multiple programmes to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Driving mobilisation strategies, governance, and planning frameworks across projects
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve operational readiness and performance targets
- Managing risks, resources, and stakeholder engagement throughout mobilisation phases
- Ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrating leadership experience within programme delivery, mobilisation, or project management environments
- Managing complex, large-scale projects within engineering, defence, or infrastructure sectors
- Driving stakeholder engagement across senior internal and external partners
- Applying strong governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
- Leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, project management, or a related discipline
- Project or programme management qualification such as Association for Project Management or equivalent (desirable)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
